Simple Watchlist for iPhone
Last updated 7 September 2026
Simple Watchlist collects nothing about you. It has no account, no server, and makes no network requests of its own. Everything you save stays on your iPhone. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code of any kind.
Your items, ratings, notes and settings are stored on this iPhone only, in the app's own storage. They are included in your device backups if you make them, which stay under your control. There is no account, no sign-in, and no copy of your list held by anyone else.
Nothing. The app has no server, makes no network requests of its own, and works with no connection at all โ in aeroplane mode it behaves exactly as it does otherwise. Your list, your ratings and your notes are never sent to this app's makers or to anybody else, because there is nowhere to send them. The only network traffic the app can cause is the App Store handling a purchase, which is done by the system rather than by this app.
If you paste a video link, the app reads it on the device to work out what kind of thing it is and keeps it so you can tap through later. The link is not fetched, checked or sent anywhere. Opening it hands it to your browser or the YouTube app, at which point their own privacy policies apply, not this one.
There are none. No analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising, no tracking identifiers, and no third-party code of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is measured or reported.
Reminders are scheduled on the device by iOS. They are not sent from a server, and nobody else can see them. A reminder names the item it is for, so it will appear on your lock screen the way any notification does.
Premium is handled entirely by the App Store. The app is told whether you have it; it never sees your payment details or your Apple Account.
Deleting an item removes it, its rating and its note from the device immediately. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Because the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a change to what happens to your data.
